Raf Cloud Module and Sobi2 problem 2 Years ago Karma: 0
Hi, I managed to install Raf Cloud and Sobi 2.

Everything is ok except for a strange (maybe correct but still undesirable) behavior with the Raf Cloud module.

I installed the module on the same page as SOBI2 component. And I set the option "Integrate with SOBI2" to "Yes". The idea is that I only get the words in the tag cloud that are relevant to the category. So far everything ok: in the main component page I get all the relevant keywords, if I navigate though SOBI2 component the tag cloud only shows tags that are relevant to the category, subcategory or item I'm on.

The problem is that I have too many tags on the front page (page takes too long to load, and it doesn't look great), that's why I set "Word/Key Limit" of 20. But once I do this, the module picks the first 20 words and shows only those 20 across the whole component!. It is as if the 20 word limit was applied first, and then the tags would be restricted to the keywords relevant to the SOBI2 context.

Wouldn't the right behaviour be to first restrict the whole set of keywords to those relevant to the SOBI2 context, and only then restrict the resulting keywords to the limit set in "Word/Key Limit"?

Thank you

Upon further examination, I discovered that the source of the "slowness" when there are many tags is the "Integrate with SOBI2" option turned on.

If I turn the "Integrate with SOBI2" option off, I get a better loading time.

Turning Cache ON doesn't seem to affect the loading time when the integration with SOBI2 is in place. Shouldn't the SOBI2 filters be cached?

I can't state that the SOBI2 plugin is working nice ootb.

You need to alter the SQL string (which is no problem for me) to get acceptable results. Is there a way to implement some plugin specific configuration code? I would like implement some field-filter options.
